GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS

When you arrive to Querétaro:

1. Get in touch with your family and friends. Give them your Mexican address, your phone numbers and your schedules. 
2. Register at your Embassy or Consulate in Mexico. They could help you in case of an emergency. Don´t forget to tell them where and how long you are staying in Mexico.
3. Come to the International Affairs Office at UAQ in order to report your arrival. You will also need to go to the Academic Department of the Faculty you are studying at UAQ as soon as you arrive.
4. Tell your teachers at UAQ that you are an exchange student, because you will not be register as a regular student in our systems.
5. If there is any change in the subjects you are studying at UAQ you must report it to your home institution as soon as possible.
