PASSPORT

  • Your passport must be valid for the entire period you are staying in Mexico.

STUDENT´S VISAS

Some countries require a special visa to enter to Mexico. If this is your case, you must contact the corresponding Embassy or Consulate in your country.

Countries that do not require visa: http://www.inm.gob.mx/index.php/page/Paises_No_Visa  

In order to get your student visa for one semester, you must visit the office or website of the corresponding Embassy or Consulate in your country. In general, the papers that you will need are:

  1. Passport. Valid for the entire period you are staying in Mexico, and copy of the main pages.
  2. Visa Application Form.
  3. UAQ´s acceptance letter.
  4. Proof of sufficient financial means, for at least $300.00 dollars a month.
  5. Recent identical color photographs (The number and format change according to the Embassy or Consulate).

In some cases, you will also need:

  1. Proof that you are currently enrolled at your home institution. This could be a letter, a transcript or your student card.
  2. International major medical health insurance.
  3. Birth certificate or ID.

If you are studying at UAQ for two semesters, you must apply for temporal resident student permission. Please visit the website of the Embassy or Consulate for the correspondent requirements and forms.
